hi guys new boy to the site lol! need some help plz! first thing first. im new to this just thought i'd do a little grow for me and my mates, got a skinny tent 400w light a 4 pot wilma and carbon filter and fan. and a little fan inside to circle air flow! my first question to you guys is: its three weeks 2moz since i started and my tallest plant is about 9-10 inch and about the same dimension as the top of the wilma pot. at what time should i really switch to 12/12 because my table is tellin me around now! but i thought u left it on 18hrs until ur happy with the size??? also some of my leaves are going slighty yellow and dying a bit at the tips. i spoke to the guy at the local shop he told me my ph was prob wrong so i invested in a ph meter. well worth it loads easier! my ph is between 5.9 - 6 he told me keep it at 6 at this stage. the problem isnt getting any worse really but its still there any advice. im using cocco feeding ever 3hrs for 30 mins i was doing 15mins every hour but was told tht prob was a bit much! i only use cocca a and b and only put in what the table tells me, i also have tht cazylysm stuff if thts how u spell it lol!

You can go onto 12-12 any time you like. There are people who put their seedlings under 12-12 right the way through the grow. This would mean the plant being ready quicker but with less yield. Bear in mind that when you do go to 12-12 that the plants will grow to 2-3 times its height now. Best of luck mate.

yeah man-its good of you wait when the plant is at least 16-20 days old and then switch to 12-12.your flowering plants will grow 20-50% bigger, depending on a strain.

thanks guys for the advice least i'm know i'm going in the right direction but could anyone explain a bit deeper in wat i will get out of keeping my plants on 18hrs??? also im struggling to keep the temp down in there, ive got a fan suckin out the hot air its not connected to the filter yet as it does not smell and i have a little fan just circling the air but my temp on a really hot day can touch 90 but average is about 86 cause its warm at the mo! is this to high i'm worried??? also anyone got any answers to my yellow leave problem??. and one more thing lol! ive just brought some bigbud seeds thought i'd have a ago at raising some as i actually dont know wat strain mine are!!! but now i think bigbuds a wrong move just seen some reviews not very good! im looking to get something with half decent yeild and with a max height of around 1.5 m and suggestions in wat i should try?? want something strongish thanks guys!
