Ok another Newbie question I guess, but here goes.
I have a custom made PC I put together that contains a nice sized PSU(Power Supply). Its a 700Watt PSU, running a Quad Core CPU and a 512 MB 9800GTX Graphics card(for those who know about PC's).
I'm still debating if buying a 250watt HPS/MH is gonna mess with the circuits here, as we already have problems with breakers blowing every once in a while when lots of stuff is turned on, such as hair dryers and stuff.
Well, if my has a freakin 700Watt Power Supply in it, isn't that drawing more power than a 250Watt HID?
Like, just because it says 700Watt, does it always use all 700Watts? As where a 250Watt HID will use ALL 250Watts when turned on right?
So my question is should I really have to worry about the 250Watt HID when I have a 700Watt PSU running and it never causes problems....
