my aero dwc concept

I want to make my hydro system with a nute resovoir in each planter bucket, 3 buckets, each with their own WICK sort of DWC system... and then was thinking of incorporating aeroponic misters to oxegenate the empty area, and percolate the revoir to encourage compost. the reason I want DWC+ aero is so that i can use JUST water in the aero misters, so the nutes dont clog it up. my problem is how would i use that and keep the clean water seperate?? maybe have like... 3 chambers??? 1 with the medium on top, roots grow down through the wick past the aero chamber into the bottom of the bucket? :-X I really think this would be great!! you could compost tea the bottom and also oxegenate the middle-upper root system. the plant could take nutes as needed

while your idea seems well thought out. i think your forgetting what happens when you mix water and compost, and a water pump and nozzles. nasty clogged up mess.
if you want to recirculate psudo-aeroponically you need to use strictly inorganic salt based fertillizer.

i think youd be happier, and have more weed
with an undercurrent dwc or a regular dwc with a traditional airstone at the bottom.
why not just do a regular dwc bucket use some genhydro nutes adjust the ph and pump once a week, and
get yourself a sweet harvest!

basically the bottom chamber would be on aeration and circulation 3-5 times a day, and then the aero misters would go through the PVC you see going through the buckets that go into the square DWC resovoir... these would have their own resevoir that i'd fill up or id figure out how to re capture the runoff clean water; thus not clogging the aero misters and still oxegenating the middle of the roots. the medium could be a rockwool slab or another bucket on top and the wick would go all the way down to the bubbling DWC chamber... it would almost be like a compost tea resovoir on bottom, that the roots grow down into. i think the major challenge would be getting the roots past the aero misters but idk if it would be good for the plant to get the extra aeroponics in the middle of the roots.... just a thought ive had for a while...ok so i think i converted it to JPG if that helps
