Hey all,
I started a little pollen chucking exercise and planning to back cross to the mothers. I planted out 30 of each of the new F1's and every single one of them are male. Im at a loss as to why they are all male...
Im starting the back cross to clones of the original mums but im now wondering if all those offspring will be male as well? Is it worth continuing?
Going by basic genetics and crossing back to the mum, surely i should end up with some females in the new offspring yeah? Im thinking my male blueberry that i used has overpowered the females chances of producing female offspring..
Any advice would be really appreciated before i waste any more time and electricity!
Cheers
