My current setup. 400W HPS. Some input, anyone?

Setup:
Power: 400W ETI HPS/MH/AGRO
Bulb: 400W PHILIPS MASTER SON-T GREENPOWER AGRO

(This covers the lighting, I'll post the rest of it as soon as I have the possibility to do that.)

I've understood that the Philips bulb has properties that make it quite suitable for vegging too, still haven't had the chance to try, though.
Any experience, guys?
 
Any hps or agro will do both, lots have said to use a MH for veg, I saw no difference in stretch or node distance when using one, I use HPS from established clone to harvest and have for years. :)BB

Sounds like what I've done once with medium being soil, and did the same thing last grow (8y ago, hydro(bubbler)+cooltube &the works). I'm just somewhat curious, since that bulb of mine is supposed to have a little more blue spectrum in it, while still being "very red" IMO and according to specs.

EDIT: FIY if you've missed my other posts or haven't seen me post it; I'm now at day 13 of flowering. Using only PK 0-13-14 (BioNova.nl) at the moment. I'll post pictures here later today.

One more question. I accidentally used only a 7-8 litre pot for this bush (pic in ~4 hours of the plant), but since the height from the soil to the canopy is ca 55cm, width the same, give or take (bowl-form plant, topped that way). The question is; Can I still at this point take a 15litre pot and just transplant it. If so, shouldn't I use the most low soil possible in order to avoid veg-stage nutes they often include (especially slow-release ones).

IF it's not an auto flowering strain. I would not see why not , be very careful with the roots so you dont damage them and stunt the growth for a few days, I would also try to get the best soil you can and without any added nutrients. A little bit of N is not going to hurt the plant any, My aero mix has 4-8-9 when mixxed the way the labels tell you to mix it and I have never had a problem with them. To much N can delay flowering but it usually takes a substantial amount to do so IME. Post up some pics or start a journal so we can see the plant and your setup :) BB

Short reply: Journal; OK, yes - I really want to - is it "wrong" to start one at this stage, or should I wait until I plant the next seeds (not long till that)...?
Thanks for the tips regarding N, and the soil: It is/was as I had thought and hoped, my needs I mean.
About the strain: Not auto/Ruderalis, but some 50-50 Indica/Sativa (at least it feels like it's got a litle more sativa than usual, but hey - I might be totally in the wrong here.

i do the same see no need to use mh bulbs hps have done me well for many years
