My dry, and cure.

Alright, so I harvested my bud on the 7th. Hung it up on string, and let it dry for two days. Well a day and a half I suppose. Until the buds felt crispy. The stems were bending, but not cracking, or breaking.
(Most people say when the stems crack a little it's time, but if they've broken it's way to DRY!)
I just chose to keep it jarred early for my own safety.

Just like people say the day after putting them into a jar, and letting them sit they will be moist again. Seeing as how I jarred them early I pulled them out of the jar and let them sit for another hour in the air. Then closing it off, when I burped them I would also rotate the bud seeing as how the ones on top would be crispy and the ones on the bottom would be wet.

Well a week later from the first day of harvest, the two days of air dry, and 5 days of jarring, burping, and occasionally rotating the bud. I can tell I'm about at a point where I want to keep the jars closed for good. The outside of the buds are a slight bit crispy not wet again everytime I open the jar. The stems however do not crack, or break still, but only bend.

The potency has definetly changed, the flavor, the harshness. Just my own little story about my dry, and cure. I figured it would help people out as it's actually really a lot easier than I thought. lol just like growing the plant.

This is a picture of them on the second day of airdrying. I forgot to mention that I let them sit a while in the cardboard box. But most of the drying was done by hanging. The box was just because they were still to wet as I stated. Also another great way to tell how for along you are in drying is they really shrink. Half that size now. I probably got a half off it.

I did exactly the same as you 2 months ago and i can honestly tell you that after 2 weeks of curing and burping i thought it couldn't get any better... Wrong!!!! man... it just keeps getting better and stronger and smellier... Im definately gonna cure for minimum of 6 weeks from now on!!!

Yeah, I used to do that.
Ya know whats even easier? Hang for a week then put in paper bags for a couple days.
After that put in a jar and seal it for a month. No need to burp and comes out perfect every time I do it.
