My first AUTO grow! Nirvana NL 32 days, pics...

Okay so I ordered some of these reluctantly after reading some mixed reviews. The first few I started all germinated but I made the mistake of using my outdoor soil and snails ate the stalks, so I went another way. This one is 45 days from seed old today and yes it is definately auto and it is working on it's 7th node right now, it started showing hairs at the 5th node.

The cool thing I noticed about these is how the plant started with 2 nodes of 1 leaf, then 2 of the 3 point leaf, now it is starting to get to 5 points, like in reverse, this is my first auto so maybe this is normal. So far Nirvana has provided a good product, very very strong odor, never had odor like this before.

Any tips? How long to go? I have all the nutes and molasses, but I am also still on the 24/7 lighting with my 2 6500 cfls on it. So what ya think?View attachment 2224683View attachment 2224677View attachment 2224678View attachment 2224676View attachment 2224679

I haven't used any type of nutrients yet, just had to add that.

I am using just plain organic soil, and perlite, 70 soil 30 perlite, I just transplanted it into a 3 gallon container because 7 nodes high only 8 inches high at 45 from (seed) was off compared to others pictures, I took the black hockey tape of the clear 2 liter soda container and the bottom was root clumped, so hopefully I think I solved my problem or prevented one. I won't water it today, i'll wait until tomorrow which is the 7th day. I always water them every Sunday ( every 7 days).

Here are the transplant into the bigger pot and the 3 week or so old one that is in a dixie cup I will transplant in about 10 minutes into another 3 gallon pot.

I will check in later on down the road with more updates.

looking good. just finished growing & harvesting 2 NL autos. you're going to love it. i got really nice yields but the smoke after curing for three weeks is awesome. never thought i would get so high om autos. also, another one is doing great at four weeks. i'll be checking in. GL

Thanks! I hope so I haven't smoked any bud in like a year. How long do you think I got since you grew a couple? I find it wierd the plant is only like 8 inches tall in 45 days from (seed). Should I put in the window now since I have had in on 24/7 since birth? Maybe it needs a resting period now?

the second plant germed 40 days after the first one. #1 took 80 days from germ to finish and #2 plant was 81 days. as for putting your plant in a window, yes. the more light and the longer the better the results will be. remember they are autos and really don't need to rest, even though i run 20/4. GL

Did you mean no to putting in a window? Cause if I did that it would actually be on the sun's natural light period, cause you said the longer the light the better. I just don't see any branching out, it's just 3 nodes with like flowers coming out so it basically looks like 1 stem, don't get me wrong it's heathly, maybe since I just put it in a 3 gallon pot from a 2 liter container I should give it time to get going more comfortable. Should I start using my flowering nutes now?

I got kinda confused, I was thinking you must have just hit some of that NL lol.

Here is an update looking through my calender, it is actually 45 from germ. Here is the update. Just gonna roll with it, do you think it will branch out more anytime soon? how many watts your cfl's eat?
also if one started to flower it needs 2700k and for autos i think you should roll only with 2700's

I'm using small watt cfls for the smaller plant as you can see it is doing fine it is actually almost as tall already than the big one and 3 26 watt 6500 cfl's for that one. My plan was to get as much vertical growth before flower as I could, but as you can see, for a strain from Nirvana that 7 out of 10 said wouldn't auto, it auto by the time the 5th node started so I have kept with the 6500 to keep growing it instead of having a 10 inch plant. These suckers flower very very quickly it threw me off lol.

I do know one thing for sure, when I put that sucker in a spare room under the window, in the morning sun, that sucker perks up more. I'm thinking of letting it get like 10 nodes of flower and then sticking that fucker in the window til mid july. Or I may get some of those 2700s who knows, still trying to figure it all out.

The sucker flowers quick!!!! Be prepared!

I think sun definitely would be better than 78w of cfl's. when did your plant got second set of leaves? It's 6 days since sprout and she's only 1 inch tall with 4 leaves. Should I worry?

Mine took like 2 weeks to shoot up it was to the point I was thinking wtf is taking it so long then after it got past 4 leaves it started kicking up I'll have to look at your to compare cause I had one out of the 10 seeds that was stuck on four tiny nodes of leaves and just refused to grow bigger so I stuck it outdoors and it is still healthy but still is at week 8 and only has 4 sets of tiny leaves so I am giving up on that one and just letting nature sort it out.

Update: Since my day 45 pics now at day 47, I have got 2 nodes of flowers, I will take pictures at day 50 for comparison, but it is starting to really get tons of white hairs, never seen this many white hairs and very strong odor. Now I know why so many people talk about how strong it is and why the seeds are expensive on most seeds banks, I have not smoked in awhile so I may get put in a stoma. It's getting harder to not touch it, so I tell myself to calm down cause it smells so good i'm ready to snatch that fucker up right now it smells so good but I won't lol. My other seedling has taken off since I tranplanted it into a bigger pot, it is at 5th node and almost as tall as my flowering one, so if that one does indeed flower, that will be my good yeilder. Right now I'm guessing I will get a half ounce of the one I got now, but will we see once I stat pumping in the flower nutrients and molasses in 3 days.

Okay here we are at day 52 the last update until harvest. Look at how the 20 dayer sprouted out, it's already taller than the one flowering! can't wait til that one flowers, just started using the molasses, figure I got about a month left I have researched NL and it seems to take a little longer autos or not, I will update at harvest time! But once I put them in the sunshine, i'll add one more picture later so you can see it while its awaken more! Enjoy!

Pics are a few hours later, see how the veggin' one perked on up... Last pictures before harvest, I would say 4-6 weeks???? Last picture is with the magnifier. I hope all goes well...Next time I transplant quicker as you can see the one on the left shows why just by size and being half the age.

I have also just switched the lights that were the 6500 k to the smaller 2700 k for my flowering one to see if that bulks it up, maybe thats part of the reason why it hasn't buffed out, it's been on the bright65's for 50 plus days, we will see but this is my first auto grow, and I haven't smoked in a year so whatever I get from this is a win win for me. I don't go by days on calendar being a outdoors grower soo long I have learned the plants tell you, not a planned date, so i have just gotten use to that way of growing. When it's done it's done i dont care if it takes 95 days.

Saying all that and liking Nirvana I have bounced around and decided and ordered Sea of Seeds cause of the extras. I got NL normal, cause I do mostly outdoors, and decided to try the auto Mazar and got some freebies like fem mango something or other lol hey it's free so I will take it!

Maybe you should LST to get a bit more light on those side branches?
