My first garden.. How do I hide the smell?

This is my first garden, its rather small with only 15 plants currently. Im growing indoors, and Ive got most of it down. Im just really not sure how Im going to hide the smell once my plants get mature. My garden is in a tucked away room in my basement. Fully concealed. I thought of using 3 or 4 layers of plastic around the walls and ceiling to contain the odor, but someone told me that would make my plants more prone to mold and mildew. Any suggestions?

(Might I also add that I have limited income..)

Cheap way out is the Ona pucks, I think thats right. I haven't tried them, thats just what i've heard I went with a used Carbon filter and just put fresh carbon back in it. Saved $100 bucks that way.
You can make your own carbon filter pretty cheap too, there's a DIY on here for em somewhere

Ive never even heard of a carbon filter? What is it, what does it do, and are there alternatives?

A carbon filter is activated carbon like you'd use for a fish tank filter, but mostly are cylindrical You would attach a inline fan to the filter to draw the air out of the room through the filter, thus scrubbing the odor of the grow room air out of the room where the other end of the fan ducting is being vented. Look at my first grow on RIU link in my signature and you'll see the blue can fan sitting on top of my filter. I've got some stinky ladies and you can't even tell when the tent is closed sitting in the same room.
