my first grow *under construction*

so i havent actually begun growing.. but someone made the suggestion to keep posting thru planning and setup too... so today ill start with my first entry (other then the couple threads in the design and setup category)...

went to order a good chunk of my equipment just a lil while ago, my first purchase was a 1000w de hps air cooled light from growace went smooth should be here by 420!

my second purchase which included a spiderfarm sf2000 light a couple 2.5'x5'x6.5'
tents pumps coco coir nutes meters medium pots and so on didnt go so well. placed my order and 10 mins later got email from amazon. they locked my acct and wont process my order until i log in and prove the payment method belongs to me :wall:
im not committing fraud amazon i promise lol... logged in filled out the form and submitted documentation. they said 24 hrs to review so hopefully ill hear something tomorrow. im ready for the fun part already lol stay tuned!

preciate it! ...ive spent the last month and a half or so reading up on techniques and different equipment and lurking this forum! theres been alot of amazing people here thats been able to answer questions and give helpful advice! im eager to show you guys how it all comes together and the results. patience will prolly be the hardest lesson! lbs

update... as of this morning my amazon acct is still locked. i got a response saying the info that was submitted was insufficient :wall:

still working to unlock my acct and get my order placed

Oh dude, I personally despise Amazon and Jeff Bezos...I go outta my way to avoid using Amazon, from there streaming services to ordering stuff, just everything really...most my stuff I got online from Walmart

Actually the only things that didn't come from Walmart was hlg 4000k light and the seeds

ive never really had problems with amazon and im sure walmarts ceo is no better then jeff lol...

i guess theyre just doing their part to make sure people arent committing fraud thru them... i think i chose the wrong billing address for the card i used and since it was a large dollar amount, they flagged it.. the part that really sucks is you cant call them right now ): half tempted to just create another acct and place the order on the new one. but i fear with my luck my first acct would end up gettin unlocked and i end up with double charges

That wld definitely be no good, lol I dislike Amazon for several specific reasons, but the important thing is that u get what u need to get those little girls growing into beautiful dank ladies!

i am striving to have girls as impressive as lots of your guys on riu! my space is kinda small so i wont yield as much but if they are as pretty as riu's members id call it successful!

So really, all those seeds n I only actually bought 12 girl scouts lol...plus shipping was free bc it was over 90$...man this is for real the month to stock up

i was able to get my amazon acct unlocked! i now have a good chunk of equipment on the way... ill list whats on the way or that i have so far...

this will be in a 8x11 foot bedroom thats heated and cooled with the rest of the house

2x 6" clip on fans(need 2 more)
1x temp/rh monitor (need another)
2x 27 gallon heavy duty tote w/ lids (these will be my resevoirs picked these up for 11 bucks each at home dePOT)
2x 36"x24"x8" bins (these will be my flood tables)
2x 400gph adjustable flow pumps
2x ebb n flow drain kits
2x return flow bulkhead kits
1x ph meter
1x tds ce meter
1x ph up/down test kit
1x gh flora grow
1x gh flora micro
1x gh flora bloom
1x gh calimagic
1x 5kg mother earth coco coir block
1x 8 quart bag of espoma perlite
12x 6" net pots
30-35x 3/4" × 1 & 3/4" x 5.5ft heat treated wood boards (picked these up from work we toss em so they were very cost effective lol. plan to use these to make stands to hold my flood tables. thinkin ill keep them low and possibly on wheels. also thinkin of using them to stablize my net pots some how and for scrog frames)
1x 100ft of 12/2 romex

im still buttoning up my plan for electrical supply to the grow room so theres a side list for this too... as of now it includes running a subpanel drawin 70amps to the room. im working with renfro on this (hes my sensei / guru... if you need help on this side highly recommend you catch him in a thread)

i havent got timers yet because im looking into controller boxes

still need to get 3/4 and 1/2 inch tubing for my ebb n flow system

need dehumidifiers/humidifiers

need window vent panel w/ backdraft stop

need pantyhose lol

thinking bout an ac window unit but thinkin ill wait closer to summer im already over budget lbs

(ps i was wake and baking while writing this up so its likely i was getting forgetful bout 1/3 of the way in lmao)
