I planted a germed seed 72+ hours ago. I checked it this morning and the early roots are green, but the seed is still attached, and just below where it is attached, the stem is slightly brownish/purple, but the seed is still attached. Should i try and help it off, or is it already dead?

I would wait a little more. It should split and fall off itself within a day or so.

I don't think it's dead, just taking it's time.

You just have to use two fingers and get your nail under the shell on both sides and pull out

Ok, I pulled it off and there are two little leaves, but they are not as green as other sprouts, is that normal?
