Hi Everyone,
this is my project iv been working on, i have built myself a cabinet to grow in, i pretty much just used all the space i can so it has ended up being..
H: 7"
W: 4.5"
D: 2"
i got myself a 600hps with digital dimmable ballast.
And i have made myself up 3 Bubble Buckets.
I will try to explain the way i have setup my buckets, i havnt really followed a plan i just sort of looked at a bubble bucket diagram and made up what i thought would work . So sny feedback is welcome and appreciated![Smile :) :)](/styles/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
Outside the cabinet i have.
45L Esky (i believe U.S call them coolers)
That will be my feeding resivour out of that is a tap and water line which gravity sends the water to a float vavle thats sitting in a control tank (about 10L).
From the bottom of my control tank a water line runs into the cabinet and into the bottom of all 3 buckets.
The float valve is set at the level i want the water to be in my buckets so all 3 buckets stay at whatever level the float valve is set to (wonderful FREE gravity)
now from all 3 buckets i have another 16mm water line running out to a "return tank" in the return tank i have a submersible pond pump that returns the water back to the buckets through a 4mm sprinkler line. The return in the bucket is just a ring of the 4mm around inside of the bucket (with T's cut into it) about level with the bottom of the net pots.
Each bucket has 1 air line 2 air stones. And the same in the 45L main Resivour.
Basically when i drain i can turn the tap on the main rez (retaining the nutes in there) and i have a tap that will drain the rest of the whole system.
ok moving onto Ventilation. I have made my own Air Cooled hood, which has a 125mm Exhaust fan rated at 105cfm.
the bottom of the cabinet i have a passive vent i made from PVC thats completely light fast. Its 2x90mm which i can easily block 1 if its to much. The Exhaust is a 180cfm inline exhaust fan pulling through a home-made carbon scrubber.
i think thats sbout where im up to atm i would really appretiate any feedback, ill post more pics a little later on
thanks for reading![Smile :) :)](/styles/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
