So im kinda new to the whole growing thing, so i need a little bit of opinion. Im workin with a closet type space, 4 cfl 25w put out 1600 lumens each(in my pic it has different lights), i just threw some seeds in the miracle grow planting soil (feeds up to 3months) and they have sprouted. my first bunch all started dying and laying over so i killed em and kept the survivers. i have 3 that made it, one of which is sick right now. its starting to show yellowing in the leaves. dont think i over water them cuz the soil is usually dry. i just use regular bottle water for my plants. but problems again, i want to use nutrients for them but i dont live anywhere or even close to a hydro store so thats out of the question. walmart lowes homedepot. such things like that. any suggestions? some insite is apprecitated. more pics to come

Read a lot. you are right you will want to get some nutrients for those plants soon. Any Grow and Bloom combination will work better than none. Doing it properly requires investing in some meters or trial and error, trial and success. You will want to put hose plants in individual pots like yesterday. Welcome to the forum, I hope you do the research, this can be a lot of fun. VV

ok so i found some 20-20-20, but they are in packets, u add them to water and stir, then u just water ur plants and use it then. is this good for them? or should i wait til a specific time to use nutes? anyone?

Since the last pix i have rearranged the grow space a little, i have put in 4 cfls putting out 4200 lumens altogether. and got some 20-20-20 packets that u drop in the water for my plants, but my older ones i think will die soon, they are yellowing and wilting on the bottom 2 leaves. sorry about the bad pictures, gotta get a better camera

ok, so i got a bunch of gauges for my room, i got a pH/light/wet-dry meter and a temp and humidity meter, im looking for a way to cool of the room so that way it can stay a close 70-73 somewhere in between and my humidity is 45%( is this ok for humidity), and im also wanting to know how i can change the pH, do i just put pH minus in some water and put it in with the plants? idk that seems like it would kill it. does anyone know how to make a simple DIY cooling fan, or where to buy a cheapo one?
