My idiotproof guide to building my 2x2x4 grow tub

Ok here is my 2x2x4 grow tub for use with 600watt H.p.s. grow lights (which I havnt yet purchased) .I recently purchased a 2x2x4 rubbermaid tub with a hinged cover.It costs $10 for me (got off my father inlaw). Now this is a cheapskate guide (kind of). Now if you live in Canada, go to any canadian tire and buy a gallon of flat white paint. ($15 but my wife works there). And 2 cans of black spray paint.(optional/unnecessary if you have a black tub). 1 foot x2 of steel chain at the thinnest you can get. (Idk the price as i had extra in my shed). And 2 hooks that will fit on the inside of a chain link.Okay, now if you bought spray paint, take it to a well ventilated area, and just have at it, covering your entire tub.Let sit for 24hrs or until the tub is completely dry.Once dry remove the lid, and paint your entire inside with the flat white, and let it dry.If your tub was like mine, (raised bottom when flipped up right), cut a piece of cardboard to completely cover it and paint it flat white.Now once it is completely dry install the hooks at the exact width of your light and install your light.Now take a measurement of whatever fan you're using for an intake and make the hole for it. (Try to make it fit snugg obviously). And repeat for your outtake.Hope it helps. 420MAY THE HERB BE WITH YOU.

all jokes aside,no one knows you here and you don't have a huge journal entry count either.
how are we going to know if this setup is even worth building if we haven't seen the end results of one of your grows in it.

I would post pics but my phone doesnt have a working camera and I don't own a computer but ill try and get some pics, and I just joined a week ago give me about a week to get to the library. Plus I havnt grown in it yet bud but when I ran my HPS no light escaped, it stayed at around 26 degrees. I dont know the exact humidity but the last one I had 4 white widdow and it returned with a 13ounce yield mind you it was bigger than this one. It was a homemade 3x3x8 cabinet lined with mylar.

Im also planning on putting weather stripping around my fans to insure its air tight and adding a masterlock on it so itll keep my thieving friends out.

And I just purchased my HPS and ballast earlier today at the local hydroponics shop, so it should be ready for my sapplings soon.

nice to know that you have thieving friends.. and they know your growing weed.. soon you will have thieving snitching friends.. the best kind to have.. got to love them kind of "friends"
