My Lowryder #2 Grow

I am going log My first grow in 20 years.

It's a Lowryder #2 grow.

Equipment List.

Secret Jardin 60 x 60 x 140 tent.

400w dual spectrum hps

70w extractor fan

300mm Fresh carbon filter ducted into an old flue

Acoustic ducting

Two speed 6" fan for inside the tent

Jointdoctor Feminised Autoflowering Lowryder #2 seeds x 5

Ok, so i've germinated the seeds. I'm only doing two plants for now. I will germinate another two in four weeks time.

I'm calling them No1 & No2.

I popped them in damp tissue and they are going into peat plugs when they show some root.

No1 showed root a few days later on the wednesday, No2 showed root about 36 hours later. (They went into tissue on a Saturday).

I put both of them in the Jiffy plugs and made little greenhouses for them with clear plastic cups. I keep them on the window ledge in a south facing room.

No2 did not shed it's seed husk properly and has a damaged seed leaf - about a third of it has died back.

The next time I will scarify the seeds with sandpaper and soak them in water before planting. I've read that lowryder can have tough seeds.

I should say that in real time I am on day 26 of my grow. This is being written from my diary.

Very interesting grow my friend, can't wait for some results.

I got a secret jardin 60 myself and I am currently running a 125 cfl setup. I would like to upgrade to a 400w, but I am concerned about the temps. I am looking at a dimmable ballast that could run from 250w to 400w. My first Test grow with 2 bag seeds turned out to be 2 males.>> my grow<< I got some fem seeds online and germinated 3 from 6 just 2 days ago. Today I transferred them to smaller pots. Hopefully they will come out the earth soon. Where I live, it is very rainy and cloudy, no sun outside.... Do you think I should leave them on the window until they show themself or put them in the box with the lights on?
