What is up everyone hows it growin? My first grow was an epic success thanks to all of peoples help, and extensive research. But this time around I got my clones from HHC and not some retarded club who gave me all the same G-13, and I was left with all Indica and nothing to smoke during the day! Enough complaining, this is my second go around with hydro and I decided to go with a DWC setup, trying something new. The strains that I decided to go with are Bubba Kush, Mendo Kush, Purple Diesel, and Hindu Kush x Skunk #1. I was a lil short of my legal limit, so I was looking for something lil special. TWO weeks later I finally found a very good resource and acquired one Chocolope and one Super Grape Ape!!! my favorite and I was checkin it out and it looks like a fun plant to grow. Below are the first set of pics the day I got the 4. Form left to right; Hindu Kush, Purple Diesel, Mendo Kush, and Bubba Kush. The Mendo Kush I guess was in flower when they took the clones, because it has the retard 3 leaf. These pics were taken on Feb, 24 2010:weed:

Everything is going good n the Mendo came fully out of bloom. Put everything in cups I figured that if I get a good root-ball to start out with, the roots would grow out the sides along with the bottom

I have everything in the Veg Room in the DWC tote. The Mendo is sprouting one leaf to three leaves only this is a first, I think its now a Hermie, so I have to watch it carefully. I top all of my plants, and it has proven to work very well for me. The roots look like there starting to come out of the side and it worked
. I have a lil root growth, but plenty more to go. The Chocolope is a lil behind, but there's a lil root poking out the bottom yeah! I took two clones from the Hindu x Skunk and there teeny haha miniature clones. Pics from left to right; Bubba Kush, Chocolope, Hindu Kush x Skunk #1, Mendo Kush, Purple Diesel, Super Grape Ape, Mendo Leaf Retardation, Them all in there natural habitat, and finally the roots. Roots question, is there enough bubbling action going on? It looks like some of the roots are dying back, its either that or the light coming through the hydroton is what I figure.

Ok so now we are finally caughtup to date with the growth. I fanilly recieved my PH pen in the mail and put it to use. I guessthe water that Iam getting from Safeway has a PH of 8.1 WTF, ok I guess I have to calibrate it ASAP. But in the mean time the Mendo is starting finally for the first time showing five leaf sets starting to form and its growing like crazy had to top it again today, because its was getting too tall. The Bubba and Purple Diesel are going crazy I trimmed off two large fan leaves that were blocking the light from developing braches, so now after a day, everything is staring to look nice. The Chocolope and Super Grape Ape are catchin up, they are2 weeks younger than everyone else. Finally last but not least my lil saggy Hindu Skunk is coming back a lil slow root growth, but its coming along, funny, because this plant can take anything and one would think it would be the last to sag. In about two more weeks, the Mendo is going into the bloom room then the Bubba etc.
In Order From Right to left:
1-2 Bubba Kush
3-4 Mendo Kush
5-6 Purple Sour Diesel
7 Chocolope
8 Hindu Kush x Skunk #1
9 Super Grape Ape
then all of them aint they gorgious haha!

First of I love DWC its is the bees kneeezzz:joint: Ok so the Mendo went completely ape shit and grew 3 times faster than anything else. it likes to get right up in the light, so I had to move it aside for the time being and rotating it 3 times a day to let everything else catch up. The top of my Grape Ape looks like its getting a lil light prob I dont know what goin on, but I moved the light up a few inches. Im getting the flowering room ready for action. I took some clones on Wednesday after I found these phillips bulbs with 6500K and 1250 lumens each. they came in a 2 pack for 5 deneros at home depot, there awesome, has a brighter white for cuttings n veg. Here are some pictures I cant get over DWC how much longer do you think I should veg them for, I am going for big plants my flowering room is a 4x4 tent with a 1000w HPS bulb? I have six plants so its going to get crowded in there towards the end hopefully. Im looking for the right hood for this setup up something the gives a nice big even canopy and is air cooled. Everything is so expensive though! I also made my own air filter with some chicken wire n a couple of other sheet metal products. Trying to find a big enough stalking to fit this thing is fun, but other than that, the charcoal is on the way and its almost good to go. Other than that if any questions, feel free to ask!
