My new light fixture.

hey all so this is my first post been here for a while just spectating lol, starting to get things under way finally. I set up these lights last night. currently i have 6 42 watt 6500k bulbs and im probably going to add another two on the end lacking lol. I plan on using it just for vegging and clones. im hopefully going to be getting a 600 watt hps some where soon. Im just looking for some input on this light on how to improve it and whether it'll be sufficient enough for the veg.

Nice work!:clap: Should work good for you. May be a little much for seedlings though? Just want to watch your distance. I myself would try and figure out a reflector to get all that light going to the plants that u can.

A hood of some kind would increase usable light. It could be made of flimsy white plastic to go over cfls. Don't get those more than 6 inches until you have a couple sets of real leaves.

You generally don't want electrical wires bearing weight. It's an unneeded safety hazard. :)

I'm a big fan of zip ties.

i picked them up at home depot for about $3 each. but you should be able to ffind them in any hardware store in the electrical section. and the zipties... genius lol
