My NEW(not finished) homemade stealth cab!

Alright, so my last box i posted on here seemed to not be that great, or had any chance at all. So here i put together a frame of a cabinet I will be putting together over the next week or so. Height wise, its 2 ft, and width its 1 1/2 ft. I plan to cover the sides with plywood or something that looks a bit nicer on the exterior and the interior. Im not too sure what to do for ventilation or anything of the sort, i have alot of computer fans that i can use. I plan to veg and flower in this thing but im not TOO worried about the smell, because i smoke pot and my parents know. I really need some help on some kind of blueprint or some ideas ! I plan to start out with 4 plants ( giving that its my first grow ever i expect to have some problems and maybe end up with one left ). I would also like to know a website where i can order the light bulbs that plug into the wall sockets for a HUGE power bar i plan to be using.. it would be helpful.

seems like its too short. 2ft wont give you much room, even if you use cfls

well, i dont plan on growing very big plants, just small ones.. maybe do the thing where you wrap the plant around to make like a ball.. i also forgot to add i have a 50$ prepaid visa for online light/light fixture shopping so if anyone is good at pricing things out for cheap.. well ya know

I noticed those chairs dont have cup holders. What do you do with your beers?

Two feet does seem a little short to me. Your pot and light can take up close to a foot.

There are socket Y-adapters and sockets that plug into outlets at most Lowes/Home Depots everywhere.

pot will take up 6" lights will take up 6" plants will need to be about 3-4" away from the cfls, so you're left with about 6-8" plants

bahah, one of the chairs is missing cup holders, i have a few packaged away! im going to minimalize the space as much as possible with the lights, what are they called? ive been looking around on websites for a whiile now and i cant figure out the name!

no, the exact thing.. its a Y connector that has two sockets, and plugs into a wall plugin or a powerbar. cant find them anywhere on a website!

Any idea on soil too? I am going down to walmart tomorrow to grab some ! any specific thigns i should be looking for

homedepot or lowes has those Y adapters and plug sockets you'll need. i'd go for some organic soil without nutrients mixed in already. also grab a bag of perlite aswell.

What ratio for the nutes, and what is perlite. Ill grab it all. Im also wondering on how to check the pH of my soil. I have a bunch of pool testing strips that i got a while back, they read from 6.8 to 8.2 and go by colors. I have a small plant growing ( about 1 week old ) and by the looks of it, one of the leafs has a small yellow area on it. It might be from over watering but i dont think so... i can upload a picture if you would like.

yes pic would help greatly. as far as your nutes, id use that gift card to buy those online. look into the Fox Farm line up, "grow big" "big bloom" "tiger bloom" and the amount you add to your water will be as instructed on the back of the bottle. perlite is stuff you mix into your soil, it helps your roots breathe and better drainage.

you cant use that hps bulb without a ballast, plus your box is WAY too small for it. you wont need nutes for another week or so anyways. when you do start using them only put the low feeding the instructions provide. and slowly increase as it grows. let me find a picture for your to show you some light setups.

yeah i was thinkin somethin would stump me like that. I think im just going to run like 4 CFLs on each side.. i STILL cant find the damn plugin ones! UG! any word on the plant leaf? over watering? or just the awesome soil from my backyard

here is what your lookin for. home depot will have everything you see here. i got the 23w - 100w eqv bulbs. you'll need the daylight color for veg and the soft white for flower. you can also mix them

honestly i cant see anything from that pic lol sorry. it could be the soil, could be over watering. once you get your new soil and mix the perlite transplant it to that

You will find that the largest CFL's available get too hot. You will be better off with the 23watts as someone mentioned. A piece of glass will help with heat, and definitely oversize the fan.

I have a few large cfls, they are like 42watt or something. I will grab the 23watts.. still looking for the plugin connector thing though

dont worry about finding that online. those will be at home depot. the power strips, the Y socket adapters, and the part that plugs it into the power strip. the only thing you'll need online is your nutes
