Hawaii,

They look pretty good. I would strongly recommend three things.

1) MORE LIGHT- For nearly three weeks of vegg your plants should be twice that size, the only reason they're not is because lack of light.

2) Don't water so much- That droopy look is because they are (more than likely) over watered. Overwatering shows the same signs as underwatering, except it is much more lethal to your plant (kills the roots). Also the weird twists and shapes of your leaves are congruent with Ph issues, you should go to at pet shop and buy a liquid (not quick strip) test kit.

3) You should have transplanted after taking your first pics.

Correct those three things and I gaurentee a big change for the better.

I don't mean to be coming down as a bubble popper, but when I started growing a few years back my first grows looked like that. Now I have learned how to change it, and I'm trying to pass the torch to you. Live & Learn.

Awesome guys awesome ill take any and all advice i dont care if ur hard on me lmao!!! but yea the only reason i didnt transplant it was because others said that i would be fine for a few more weeks they said roots grow down and then outwards... and i have 4 more 42w cfl's that i still needa put on each plant i was just waiting for them to get a little bigger thas all...and i thought it was drooping because the plants are top heavy and considering its still real small the stem isnt that thick yet...last time i watered was about 4 days ago give or take. and i have this blue stuff that u mix in with the water it contains 20/20/20 never used it tho because some people said that it was to much and others said not to use it till flowering so i been hesitant... but ill deff do those three things tomorrow after work!!! And oh yea i live in a populated town lol or should i say city so outdoor growing is out the question for me my friend... ill post more pics in a few days and give another update after i correct these 3 little things real quik!!!

THX FOR ALL WHO HAS LOOKED AND GAVE ADVICE TO ME ITS REALLY APPRECIATED AS I DONT WANT MY BABIES TO DIE ON ME!!!!! :) :)

Hawaii,

Glad you took the advice positively, some people get offended (never understood why). I figured out a great way to maximise your CFLs ability. I will explain below. As for the "blue stuff," that is Miracle Grow, horrible stuff, only inexperienced growers recommend it. All you really need during the vegetative stage is fish emulsion, its pure Nitrogen, really the only fert your plants need during that stage of growth. Later when it comes time for flowering I would suggest going to a garden store and buying a good fert with high P-K levels and low N levels (I use Botanicare's "Pure Blend" I think its like 1.5-5-5).
The major problem is that Miracle Grow is synthetically derived, so it is harsh on your plants, and its just like pharmaceuticals to us, most goes right through. It will pick your plants up, but if they get use to it and you miss it like on 2 feedings the plants look tired (its basically meth for plants).

As for the lights, I constructed this light system for a fellow grower who had not a tight budget, but a tight space.

1) Go to Lowe's or Home Depot and buy a cheap bathroom light strip fixture, one that is rated for 100w bulbs. (The ones I bought held three bulbs, the unit cost $9.)

-You will have to buy a lamp cord, and manually wire it (not hard at all just follow instructions)

2) Buy Y-connectors for the number of sockets, and install the CFLs.

3) Mount the unit onto a peace of plywood to hold it in place and secure "Eye Bolts" to the board so you can raise it with rope or chain (I use Chain and use hooks to adjust height)

This gives you a sturdy, safe platform that you can raise and lower, and all the lights are evenly spaced out. The fixture was $9, the lamp cord was $5, the three y connectors were $2 a piece, the lights were $8 for a two pack. In total it cost $45, instead of doing all that/ or on top of it, I would recommend you look into T5 HO flouro tubes.

In spring I grew 3 plants with 2 T5 6500k, 2 T8 full spectrum, 4 6500k CFLs (using the fixture).

Keep us posted. :peace:

ok i went out and did what u told me to do but my fixture had 5 sockets across and for the same price to so my shit can hold 10 bulbs im debating if i should buy another on1 and use one for flowering and one for vegging!! rewire part was easy as can be man ow i just need to hang it im gonna use it for flowering for rite now... is 10 26w cfl(100equiv) enough lite for 2 plants that are about 7 inches tall and 1 plant that is about 2 1/2 feet? if it isnt then i have a 70w cfl (300equiv) that i can use also... and i have 3 24in plant and aquiarium tubes as well that i place on the side of the plant?? so all added up i have about 25000 lumens for 3 plants

if can (can) outdoor, the trek will be worth it. i made tons of cash and got higher off it than any other weed ive had. i dont know where that stuf comes from but its probably indoor. a pound harvest will make you see weed differently. in a good way :weed:
