This is actually for my first grow as well, just planted my babies earlier today. But about the growbox, I jacked a traffic cone and went to petsmart and got a cheap 150 watt lamp which I fitted with a 150 watt cfl. I took some bristol board (matte white cardstock that) and lined the interior of the cone with that. right now i've got 5 planted so they all fit as of now and i'm sure (unless if i get extremely lucky!) i'll be discarding a couple males so I hope this works.
The photos are right after I built it but it'll be tucked away back in the closet with some blankets around the base disguising it.
