So I've always been and indoor grower, did one outdoor grow and had issues with mold while in the south with all the humidity. This time around I have one g13-blue og thats practically a 6x6 bush....colas everywhere. I was really excited until the last week or so when I notices two colas with stunted bud development and orange hairs that we all shriveled up. I know what everyone is thinking (its pollinated), but I have serious doubts that is possible given its a fem seed, no hermie signs anywhere, and Im in a place where its very unlikely someone would be breeding plants. The only way it could be pollinated is if theres a male or hermie being grown in my neighborhood. I figured if it did get pollinated it wouldnt be two colas only. Any ways it seems to be spreading down the cola and onto other buds, Im ready to chop the two branches to prevent spread if its a disease. I want to be sure though. Any help would be great!!

Here are some pics, the first ones are the buds having issues and the last one is a normal bud for comparison.

Every pic looks like the plants are ok.. sometimes the hairs turn brown Prematurely..i have plenty of times that Happening.. My current grow also.. sometimes its the Fertilizers Sprays Soil Or just Mother Nature..but everything should be ok .. When there polinated it looks more like the Pistls are dirty brown like dirt color..

early signs of mite damage, hard to see in pics, faint spots on leaves, shriveled up brown red hairs in early flowering, stunted growth

check out this thread, i moved the discussion over there and u can see the pics of the mites

If you have mites, Mon thinks you have russet mites, not spider mites. Because the fan leaves are not damaged enough for them "spider mites" to be on the bud yet. However. Mon has never seen the russet in person, so don't take mon word and find out for yourself.

no they def are not russet mites(pretty sure those are red and gather on the stalk), ive identified spotted spider mites and one other kind but idk. All the mites are dead for now...but my plant is burned so we will see what happens

Use steeped tobacco water,,, buy a pouch and put it in a coffee filter and tie it off ,, like a giant tea bag,,, or if your super health conscience ues a half tea spoon of neem oil and a half teaspoon of mild dish soap per quart and spray it on your plants,, better do it soon,, the tricomes being oil base will was off the bud when using neem oil,, from how the buds look, your on the tail end of the second week of flowering,,,
