I always knew that this day would come when we got a frantic phone call in the middle of the night to bail them out of jail or pull them out of a bad situation.
We have 2 nieces that are my wifes sister kids, 17 and 15, cute smart and always doing the right thing.
Last night the phone went off at midnight and i just let it go, whatever happens will wait till i get up in the morning.
My wife answers it and i hear her say, "we will go and check on them." I am thinking our elderly neighbors, something has happened and they need help.
My wife says the nieces are having a party and the cops are there and parents that they dont know, so, meaning the girls are having a humm dinger of a party and someone ratted them out to the cops and the parents got called. (Parents are on vacation 200 miles away).
Long story short, we get there, no booze, no other people then who is supposed to be there..............WTF??
They, nieces, were having a party to pick out classes at school with their friends and a few bad apples showed up. My oldest niece called the cops to get the bad apples out, lol.
I was thinking back to my days and thinking the worst, booze and drugs.
Got it all straightened out with the cops, they went back to the donut shop, called the parents and gave the A-OK.
Walked out and told the youngest that we are having a conversation next week about the smell in the air, someone was smoking the herbage :
: and she was the quiet one and eating cheetos. I laughed when we were driving home, we both were still baked from our pre bed session, i wanted so bad so smoke down with my nieces, lol...and i think my wife did as well.
O well, in a few years.
