My Purple plant??

I don't really have a reply for this but I can't seem how to figure out how to post a new thread, I have this friend ;-) that has this plant and it has been growing fine in flourescent lighting but, it now beggining to turn purple on the top leaves.

Is this a good thing, or a bad thing? Can someone help me out with this?

You know people would ask your friend ;) what the environment of this plant looks like. I'm a noob too, but have done a lot of reading, and if I remember correctly color change is often related to low temps (could be wrong though) You can always try a search.

ya im growin master kush and some of my leaves on the top like the outer edges are turning purple and soon the whole leaf will be purple. i mean maybe my strain will be purple i have some drying right now and some of the stems all turned purp but sorry i dont have an answer i was hopin to find some answers also
