You will need more extraction for the 250. Also, have you though about odour control?

p.s. don't think about feeding for a while and then start at 1/4 strength.

And don't worry about the nutes yet. You've got a wk or 2 before they will need anything.

You'll need roughly 100 actual watts psf. Nutes shouldn't be started until week 2. If heat becomes an issue then I have an easy fix for airflow. Crack closet door and use a poster board tacked in center to separate the intake/exhaust. Adjust up/down until you get the flow just right.

I'm currently vegging in a closet with CFL's (2 x 125W) and finding it works pretty well. Haven't got any ventilation within the closet, just a small fan for air circulation. I open the door several times a day to air it out - and the room it's in gets plenty of fresh air into it. In that respect I think you will be ok. A little more light for the final stages of veg might be an idea. Which leads me to what I perceive as your one major potential problem. Having googled the flower light you mention, I fear that a HID, even just a 250W will be too hot for your closet without extraction. If there is a gap at the top you may be ok with some fans blowing upwards, if this means the air will escape. But be aware, your environment will be changing in the opposite direction to nature at the commencement of flowering - in nature the plants veg under high temps and then flower under low temps; in your grow they will be vegging under cooler temps and flowering under higher temps. And those temps may easily become too hot. Prepare for how you will address air extraction issues now (of course, this is also the easiest way to control the odours that will develop).

Thx for the advice....my closet is 6 feet tall...good??.....and also could I go for a 200 w or 150 for flower, or it would still be hot?....(just 2 plants).....I noticed that you are vegging with a similar setup....what are you gona do for flower then?....maybe I could try that too. ;)
