My ph water out of the tap is 8.5. My questiom is if i filter it. Will it fome out more nuetral closer to 7?

I wonder why my tap at my new property is insanely high. Only bothers me cuz ph down only lower ph for up to 2 days.

Some newly rooted clone dont drink up water every 2 days. Once that ph down wears off im sure it will affect growth and make them ugly.

Hard water tends to float the PH
RO water is the best way to combat that

You can use this instead of phosphoric acid - this will drop ph with citric acid . This will stabilize water without too much worry. I run high ph in cali and this dies the trick.

I use in soil and it keeps it in range well into the next watering however i ph to “ match “ or range near ph of host material ( bagged or coco ) as each need various ph requirements.
I have not used in hydro as i usually have regular PH DOWN on hand for my DTW hempy runs. But don’t see why it wouldn’t.

I use white vinegar to lower pH.
I think there is a misconception being had here.
The pH matters for when you put it into the soil.
I feel like you are worried about the day after watering/feeding which is honestly inconsequential.
As long as your pH is In proper range when you feed you should be good.
Using citric acid, pH down, white vinegar will all be fine for the actual purpose at the time of feeding

That's not linear for all nute brands nor stages of the grow.
It is also not a good guage for every plant. During flower your nutes will lower pH However depending on how heavy you are going with them it can get much lower still needing adjusting upwards.

Well if im growing in coco then the nutrients added will naturally bring the pH way down. Sometimes i need to add pH up. If growing in organic soil i have trouble with this and need to use pH down. For some reason in organic soil my soil pH is always low in the 5's.

best thing buy ro water and mix it.Or buy RO filter.
