Nanners.... sigh...

So I have a White Rhino I have been nurturing and caring for and loving for months. I had it for a mom and then we decided to flower it. It was so big in a 10 gallon bucket we put it into a 25 gallon bucket and spread it out and put it under 1 1000w HPS. It has been doing incredibly great! It is in week 5 of flowering with 3-4 weeks to go and the buds are long and filling up really nice. It is sure to be a 1lb plant.

SO my dilemma. Today I go in to spray it down like I do weekly and I see it has nanners poppin out. Not just 1 or 2, more like 20. So do I cut it, or do I let it ride out for 3 weeks. I have never had nanners pop up like this. I have had a few here and there in the past, but have been able to control them or the plant was finishing up.

Your thoughts?

I would do what you done in the past by cutting them out. Is it in a room by itself? If so I would keep it growing as long as you can. Good luck, jethead

It is so big I won't be able to get it into any other room besides the one its in. I can get it out. My flowering room has double doors. But no other room does. I can cut them out I guess. There are just so many, and I don't want to miss any and have them skeet all over my other plants, lol. Thank though Jethead. That is what I was thinking, I just don't want to do it. :)

I feel for ya NbX. It takes about 3 weeks for those pollen scks to develope, so hopefully you can control them before that happens. Peace, jethead

Yer one plant on its own in a room is no problem, just carefully tweezer those nannas of, or the ones you can see anyway as this will minimalise any seed production, you will not get everysingle one but most should do. If you cut now sounds like the plant won't be ripe yet so i'd let it finish. If seeds are produced hopefully their won't be many and you will still get some nice tasting bud. Most times i've had nannas on a plant it was down to some kind of stress so maybe if you see some obvious reason you could reduce futher production of the male pollen sacs. And hey if you do get some seeds then this could be your next grow.

I'm going to be on tweezer duty tomorrow. Yay....dotdotdot. The plant really is big, lol. Are the seeds going to be viable if there are any? Are they basically going to be female seeds? And thanks Jet.

You know, I was told this also ever since I have been growing. But I was talking to someone who kinda knows what he is talking about and he said that if the seeds come from nanners that they aren't the same as a full blown ball sac herm. iunno. I thought it would be worth looking into.
