Hi fellow earthlings,

New to sites and growing indoors, my lovely cat has peed in the soil, does anyone have suggestions on how to keep my plant from dying

Much appreciated

Edit: leaves at top have discolouration

How big of a pot are you in? I'd suggest flushing the media with either a mild nutrient solution if you're using salt nutes or a plain water flush if in organics. Just to try and get the pee out of the soil as much as possible. Then keep the darn cat away from the herb plant. Tin foil will keep them away, they don't like walking on it. Best of luck with your plant.

That looks more like light bleaching or heat stress from that picture but I'm on my phone and it's hard to see. What kind of light is it getting and what temperature is it in?

Ah not good, she's under a red light (has 'vegetable' light and 'flowering' light), her usual spot has a good temp (don't have a good way to measure the temp at moment) but I'm thinking now may need to move her, light seems a bit too low which im guessing would cause heat stress?

You should check the light companies recommended distance if there is one. If not place the back of your hand where the top of the plant is and hold it there. If it's too hot for you, it's too hot for them temp wise. You can still burn them with too much light but looking at the pics I'm guessing that's not the issue. You want temps in the high 70s low 80s for flower and humidity in the low 50% range as a general guide.

Thank you never thought to do that , doesn't seem to hot for me but be safe just to adjust I think, I think I've left her sitting in a tight spot

Weather here (Australia) is quiet cold and rainy so that hasn't helped, do you think a grow tent could possibly help?

It for sure helps control the environment easier in my opinion. Makes it easier to create a small micro climate where the temperature and humidity is easier to regulate with just a small humidifier and dehumidifier placed outside the tent. It just depends on your budget and how much space you have. I started out with a 2x4x6 foot tent and did fine with it and have been using a 4x4x6.5 foot tent the last few years with great success. I'm looking to get a 5x5 next as I want the extra room for a bigger light I have now.
