Need a bit of advice.

So I'm setting up my first grow system, and I need a bit of advice. I've got it narrowed down to two systems I would want for my Veg stage, either the Ebb and Flow style or an Aeroponic system. I'm very familiar with hydro and the components, since my dad's been doing it for years and I work at the shop we own. I'm working with a 4 x 2 grow space, and I'd like to use the Ebb and Flow system with Sunleaves Rocks; my only concern is the cleaning. I know the rocks will be easier to clean, but I don't want any infections going on with my plants. Has anybody used them?
The above reason is why I'm considering an Aero system as well. The complexity doesn't matter, and I really like not having to deal with medium.
I'm not growing herb in this space though, since I wanna be able to show it to people, just FYI. I'm gonna grow some peppers, so I am kinda thinking that the rocks would be good for those plants as well.

The issue your worried about can happen in either system. Both need cleaning and/or replacing of parts. Both can have bacteria growth in the water if proper care is not given.
So you are setting this up as a display to try and sell products?
If that is the case and your good at growing peppers go with the system you make the most money off the sale on.
If you can't grow good peppers then do not setup any system.
Nothing I hate more than hydro stores with shitty looking plants growing for display.

If it is a display at your house to impress people then go aero since it was designed by NASA and grows awesome plants.

You will get algae in both systems if you don't use h202. I'm in hydroton and love it!
