Need advice on using dome.

I have tried several times to use a dome for propagation from seed and it always comes out the same. very lanky pathetic looking stem (if you want to call it that) pops out for a day or two and falls over dead. was considering that maybe i wasnt putting seed deep enough into cube?. Any advice?

I do noy use a dome so I can not help u on that but , to keep ur seedling alive and not stretchy ,
put the light closer (but not a hps/mh or high watt cfl as it will crisp it) and get a fan lightly blowing her..
And no nutes till she has a decent root system , I wait 3 wks to a month but thats what I do...

I quit using domes as well. They got me more troubles than benefits. Like getting mold, keeping heat. RH at my grow room is 36%, I use fan and water when necessary, I keep lights as close as possible. That does the job.

yes domes are really for cutting keeping seeds to moist( inside a dome) the roots just wont develop properly because the leaves are so wet and drinking what they need from leaves not roots. remove dome put cfl nice and close
