Need advice...

Im thinking of getting a 1.2 x 1.2 x 2m tent and using a combination of lights.

They claim in the listing that its the same as a 250w hps... is that true?

if so, i was considering getting 4-6 of these to go along side the 400w HPS ive alrwady got, and also getting the tent mentioned above so i can run SOG grows. Does that seem like a workable set up?

I dunno... just dipping my toes into the world or LEDs.

I believe them panels is for seedling`s not strong enough to do anything

I definitely wouldn't waste my money on those panels.

That's equivalent to our 4x4ft tent. You have a number of LED companies to choose from. Quality LED's aren't cheap, but you can also DIY if you're savvy with those things.

4x Kessil H150's added to your 400w HID would bring you back to a good watts per square meter figure.
The Cidly stuff would be a decent option too.

I'm assuming you're out of the US, so maybe look into Vipar LED?

Just skip any listings that say crazy things like ".. = 250W HPS"

yeah i could see using those for clones of getting those early sprouts going, but those panels don't throw off enough light to be very effective at anything else. there are lots of options out there... I'd look for an LED panel, 6 or 7 band that will cover the square footage you need. I also find the panels with the 3 watt leds seems to penatrate a little better.
