H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) is available at any pharmacy. Usually in a brown pint or quart sized bottle for about $1-2. Or you could go to a hydro store and pay $20 for the same thing...

My advice....

Dump that 10-gal tote, poke a few holes in the bottom, fill it with some organic soil, and start over. Then you can stop worrying about ppm, res temp, pH, root rot, flushing, H2O2, etc, etc... Pop on over to the organic section, and we'd be happy to help you out with that. :)

Never done coco coir, but that is essentially a different version of hydroponics. The coco has nothing to offer your plants other than something to anchor their roots in, so you will still have to spoon feed them nutrients at the proper pH and ppm. Root rot isnt likely, but its more pHing and chemical mixing than I care to deal with. The joy of organics is letting the soil feed and care for your plants for you. Keep it moist, give it a tea or top dressing every now and then, and sit back and watch them grow. It can be as easy as you want to make it.

Put in the res every 4 days, you need a lot of it so the 3% grade is useless, get the 35% or 50% grade and use at 750:1 and 1000:1. Chemical cleaning stores.

you can put a1/2 cup per gallon no more then that first i clean every thing with clorox and while pumps are running .i would put my plants roots in mild bath of clorox and water like a table spoon to a gal then when all cleand up get water in res set with every thing and then add h202 then put in the plants
