Need help asap ....

Hey stoners....

I have a question. My cfl light fixture came with two upside down v shaped mounting hooks. My problem is that with my rooms height being small the extra 2.5 " from the hangers brings my light a little too low. Is it dangerous to mount the light closer to the wooden ceiling?

those lights dont put out a lot of heat you should be fine

Do you have any kind of exhaust in your room or is it sealed. Actually a better question would be, is it in a room or some kind of enclosure. You will probably be fine either way but would be better if you could exhaust (recirculate) the air if it's in an enclosure.

Right, Flos don't put out a lot of heat, so you should be OK,,,BUT if 2.5 inches is a problem now then what will you do as the plant grows ? Can we say LST?

Thanks guys, I plugged the light in for the first time, not hot at all. So i have the light fixture about 1.5" from the top of the enclosure and I dont think their will be any issues.

I will be growing shorter plants, maybe 24" max height at harvest. So my veg plants will only be getting 8-10" tall before I clone them and send to flower.
