Hi guys. Sorry for the wall of text, after reading so many forums I'm just trying to be thorough.
Status: First time grower. Strain: Platinum cookies. Lighting: Under 1000w hps bulbs. Room temp 77-83 degrees, RH 40-60 percent. (working on controlling these fluctuations).
I was initially vegging in Fox Farms soil in 1 gallon pots, after 2-3 weeks I transplanted into Cyco Coco in 3 gallon pots. Things seemed to be going smooth, until it seemed like I had a PH problem and cal/mag def issue. This was about 3-4 weeks ago. I bought a BlueLab Combo meter, started PH'ing at 6.0 and started using Cal/mag in my nute regiment and it seemed like the problem went away.
Then about 10-14 days ago, I started noticing my leaves slightly turning yellow from the inside out with a couple brown spots/blemishes, and after a few days it starts getting worse where the whole leaf turns yellow, the brown spots/blemishes spread, until eventually the whole leaf turns brown, dries out, and dies out.
I am now 3 weeks into flowering and noticing A LOT more leaves showing signs of this, with the older ones already affected, getting worse. They are scattered throughout the plant, bottom, middle, close to the top (I'm starting to panic).
I am using General Hydroponics nutrients (and feeding according to their Flora Series, Expert Drain to Waste feeding schedule). I usually feed within 2-3 days (the Coco is dry by then). I was feeding nute, nute, water (repeat), but as of the last 3 feedings switched it up to water, water, nute...BUT I am adding a small dose of nutes (recently) to the water so technically I am nuting each time now, so dosage wise I go water (300ppm nutes), water(300ppm nute), and then a full dose of 700ppm for the 3rd feeding. I don't think this is making a difference as the problem was there way before the switch. I have been PH'ing at 6.0, but the last 2 feedings I have PH'd at 5.8 (after reading AskEd's Coco Guide, where he suggests that is the best PH for nutrient absorption in Coco).
I think this might be a Manganese deficiency after looking at some pics and have read it can be absorbed better at a 5.8 PH as well. But after seeing so many more leaves turning bad I don't know what to do any more. (If it is Manganese def, what should I do?) I've included pics of the problem from early to late stage. All pics are current from today and from different parts of the plant. Please help me from going into full panic mode. Thanks.
