I am growing in soil. plants look great, no problems with leaves or bud.
but,my branches are very "wood like"any recommendations to help this situation??

Yes and it's not from letting them run to dry I always keep the bottoms moist
It is rather common for the branches to become much harder en stiff in flower to support the flowers. That's why you try to finish your LST, scrog in the first weeks of flower. If you want to train now you can try supercropping.

well,actually I said it was in flower that they were brittle. it,it is in VEG. that I notice it more.i use small light weight hoops to help spread the tops out.. that's when I went into trouble and end up cracking and I have to tape them.. once I'm in flower and get them scrogged and it's not really an issue but I just think there's something I could add to it to give them a little bit more moisture..
