Need help identifying male or female plant

I have looked at various charts diagrams, and have read a fair bit of information on how to sex and cannot tell wether my plant is male or female so i will provide a picture if someone experienced could help out a little. I understand this is not an actual plant problem as such but it seemed like the best place to post this so please a mod move this if its in the wrong section.

The plant has been under 12/12 for 8 days now and this is what i found.

Im leaning towards male at this point which sucks, but on the other hand there are places where it looks suspiciously like it is forming little pistills ???

Hard to tell with that pic, it does look like a stalk coming out from underneath the new shoot (which may suggest male), but it also looks like it's been a bit frazzled. Can you try and get another pic for assessment? Sorry, my eyes are not what they use to be.

Looks like nanners too me....
