i need help on figuring out what size fans i need to get my grow tent the same or as close to the temp the room its in. the tent is 4 1/2 feet long 2 1/2 feet wide and 6 1/2 feet tall . the lighing is 600watt air cooled euro hood 6 inch. i would like to put a duct fan close to the bottom to force air in as my intake. then i want to use another duct fan to act as the exaust pullin air from the top of the tent through the light then out of the tent. there is also a small fan in side the tent circulating the air. the ballast is out side of the tent. the room temp stays between 69 and 72 degrees 24 hrs a day. what i need advice on is choosing what cfm intake and exaust fan to keep this tent cool. my goal is to keep it right about 72 when the light is on. please help. oh and i need to get these 2 fans as cheap as possible ,money is an issue for me. i need cfm rating recommendations for 1 intake ,and one exaust fan.

A 6 inch inline booster fan may do the trick for your out take.

4.5*2.5*6.5= 73.125 cubic feet. You will need to at least exhaust that much in 1 minute. A 150cfm fan would exhaust your room twice in 1 minute. The 600 gives off a good amount of heat and already has a 6" hole so a 6" booster fan would snap in easily. A 4" inline booster fan intake would be really good. If you have heat issues then I would suggest a 6" inline vortex or can fan.

6" if noise isn't a concern/using a carbon filter with it. Or go 4" for quieter and cheaper.
