so i havent really messed around with hydroponics yet but i just finished my bubbleponic cloner last night and i had a few questions.

1. do i need to add anything to the reservoir?
2. are there enough bubbles in my system?
3. do u run the airstones 24/0 or on a timer?
4. i have a heat mat under the tub, will this be good enough to provide a adequate temp for roots?

thanks :bigjoint:

1. You dont NEED anything in your rez. Clonex doesnt hurt.
2. more bubbles def. wouldnt hurt.
3. yes, I would.
4. optimal temps are between 73-75. I have a thermomiter for a fish tank with a suction cup on it. it works good and only cost 2 or 3 bucks.

Can't tell from the vid... but make sure its good and light proofed.

Also looks like the water level is a little high. You want the water level under the stems with only a mist from the bubbles breaking hitting the stems to encourage the roots to grow down to the water.

yea its light proof, i heard putting the stem under the water about 1/4 in works well. is it a problem that my lid is wet in the vid?

Keep the stem out of the water... trust me! Unless your looking for stem rot and over watering and slow rooting!!!

Wet lid is good... you want lots of bubble action which includes breaking bubbles that shoot the water upwards.

Double up on the air stones especially if you're going to be letting the roots enter the water level. Run them 24/7 with no doubts. Wet lid is expected. A heat mat under the reservoir is IMO unnecessary. How much of a root mass are you looking to gain before starting veg? Nice build you got going on. Will you be vegging with bubbleponics as well?:leaf:
