Need help with driver selection plz

Hi all, so I’m building some 2’ x 4’ fixtures using J series (Cree) strips from Cutter at 8 strips per and looking to run at about 750ma (roughly 37w per) but I know nothing about drivers so hoping some of you more experienced n this area can help me. I heard it’s best to run in series with constant current but not 100%. I greatly appreciate any help, thanks!

U commented on another thread of mine and asked me contents of my build and u would tell me everything I needed, I replied with what I was planning but never heard back from u. I already purchased strips from ur company and hoping u can help me with which driver I need? Thanks

I imagine you would want a HLG240h-48 since they are 48v strips and 240w will be good for 2x4 space.
But that would be 30w each, if you want more then a 320h-48 will give you 40w per strip, unless you run 9 strips for 35.5w per strip.

If you want to run at 700mA with series you would have to get a hlg320-c1400 and wire 2 parallel series with 4 in each.. But I don't think you would be getting more than 260w out of that config so I would stick to the CV choice. I only mention that option because you brought it up in your other thread.

Maybe mark has better options outside of the standard meanwell drivers.
