Need Help With Hydro Grow.

Okay i wanted to just ask the experts on what i should do to start off with a hydro grow. Ok first off what lights would i need. I was planning on using around 3-6 26w cfls for about 2-4 g13 pineapple express autoflowers. Can u grow autoflowers in hydro? and then line the inside with mylar buy something to hold the bulbs and connectors to light the bulbs and then put a dwc system at the bottom. How many pumps would i need? I have to start the seedlings in dirt and then move them into hydro after there mature enough? where can i get the screens and the rocks that you put in the hydro system? If you can answer some of these questions i would be extremely thankful

I don't know where you're located, but find a hydro shop near you if you can. If not, find a good online hydro store. I also saw a surprising selection of hydro stuff at my local OSH. They had net pots, clay pellets, even GH FloraNova nutes and coco mats and seedling / cutting mats and domes. I was surprised.

I wouldn't use that garment closet. Though the thing might resemble a grow tent superficially, and the price is right, it wasn't intended for growing -- and so with all the things you'd have to get to make it into a grow tent, it would probably end up costing you as much as a small grow tent -- one that is already reflective inside and has the hangers and vent openings and is sturdy enough to grow with (growing pot is a much more demanding activity than storing clothing).

Yes, autoflowers can be grown in hydro.

Don't germ in soil. Start your seeds in warm, wet paper towel in a dark enclosure, once the tap root has popped, plant it root side down about a quarter inch into a pre-soaked 5.5ph rockwool cube. Place said moist cube right under a fluorescent light. Keep it moist but not soaking and warm. The warmth from the close proximity to the fluoro bulb should suffice. Don't let the cube dry out.

ty so what kind of box should i go with two rubber maid containers stacked with computer fans? I need a duct to go out with a carbon filter as well correct?

Have a look at this. You were gonna pay like 30 bux for that garment closet? For not that much more, why not grow in style? Like all grow tents, this has holes for your carbon ducting. Oh, and I doubt that garment closet has the sturdy metal frame and can contain light and odor as well.
