Need ideas on unusual space.

I have a closet that is 6ft long 2ft wide and 8 ft tall. I have several concerns.
1. Cool tubes or hoods?
2. 6" or 8"
3. What size inline fan(cfm's)
4. Wattage
I have a small cab in there now running 4" and 400 watts. It is doing fine. However, I wish to convert the entire space to grow. This is an unusual space and has double doors. I was thinking 8" inline fan 8" carbon filter and two 6" cool tubes. I will have two ballasts in the room and panda film covering door openings with zipper. I only have the option of air coming under the door to make up my intake. My cab that is in this closet reaches 80F at highest point. But when I put two lights in this space it could get crazy hot potentially. So please hit me with ideas I'm ready. Thanks

Id run it vertical. x0xx0x. lights are 0. 4 plants scrog. set up a light mover to move the lights up and down. a couple of floor fans blowing up at the bulbs and a portable ac unit to cool the area. vent to attic with a Small (400cfm with speed controller) with a filter.

cooltube ............it controlls the heat better and easier to rig in carbon filters and exhust systems

6 inch .............. u do not need the speed that 8 inchs provided that is for multi rigs (3 4 5 6) on the same exhust

CFMs the smallest ones on a 6 inch is a 400 cfm................match the filter to the fans CFMs

watts 2 600s ............with hoods.........the 400 cfm will work just fine i have it working 3 and that is 2200watts

here is the hood choice i think will do u the best ..............it is ment for a 4x4 area but with yours it will do great......2 of them will give u maximum lumens in sqaure foots plus little over kill factor

i am thinking u are doing a SCRoG this set up will get u thick hard nugs ..............just rem to panada film/ paint the walls white
then for venting just leave one side cracked with a fan blowing the cool air in back the cfms of the fan should keep a nice negitive pressure so smell in the room is no big ......this is thinking u are venting the exhust into the attic (so the other door is shut on the 2 sliding doors)

I have only a 600w and a 400w ballast. A/C is not an option in this space so scratch vertical.

because i got bored

i figured out how to hide this op if u like to know

remove the sliding doors from the track and measure the closet front (from floor to the top of the drywall ) ...........u are going to make a false wall

once u have that u get some 2x4s and make a simple backing frame.......on the cloest walls inside u want set 2 peices of wood so when u put the false wall up it keeps it in place (this has to be flush with the wall when it is in place ) .........once u got the frame in u drywall it and paint it (to make it completely hidden u should use wooden panneling to hide the seams shit works great)

on those 2 peices of wood u are going to get child magnetic locks for cabnets (they are like 150 lbs of pressure) those go on the edge of those tabs on the wall so u can lock it in place

at the bottom of the false wall u add in a vent for your intake to the grow area.................on the wall u hang some hooks and stuff they will look like coathooks but really they are the handles u use to lift and move the wall to work on your plants

and a 400 and 600 watt with those hoods would be just fine .............i said 2 600 for the over kill factor

they are the standard S plug for the ballast tie ins

make 2- 8" holes on opposite sides of the room. run duct to the lights connecting them together and out the other side. hook your 8" fan to one side and pull the air from the other side through the lights. make sure everything is sealed tightly and this should take care of the heat issue. then put a carbon filter and fan inside the room scrubbing the air thats in there and it will also pull in some more air from outside then room. this should handle the heat no problem

They are not sliding doors. Both doors swing out. This will be veg and flower room also no scrog- mainlined instead. So no light can get in. Thanks also link you sent me to cool tube? It is 25" wide my room is only 24" w

if u look at the set up u have to put hood together and the size of it can be modified

the rest of the hoods are not going to get total coverage this hood will get u maximum lumens per square foot .........the ones with the wings work but not as well as that one

your area size is well odd so nothing is going to be perfect
for something like this it is a jerry rigging dream .....................from what i have learned u go for the best and modifiy it to work in your area
do what u like ......but my thinking is why settle one something that will fit when u can get the best possible and make it work for u

the only other is to buy a tent system use that for flowering and that closet of yours as a drying room/cure room for the crops .................i personally have 3 tents and one starter box
1 tent is hydro to learn on 4x4x6..............1000w
2tent is soil autoplants for money and smoke 4x4x6.............2 600w
3 tent is for starting larger plants and dry/curing area 3x3x6................t5 2ft 8bulb
