need some advice on cloning

first time grower here, i have 4 nice plants outdoors that are budding very nice, i would like to clone these plants. i need to know if i can use clippings that have small buds on them? i want them to go back into the veg state, these clones will be grown in a hydro setup. thanks for any advice.

Yes but, it will take a while to revert back to veg!! Take as many as you can and be patient!!

It'll take around a month. Best to take cuttings during veg. You can look into harvesting and letting the moms revert back to veg state.

Are they in pots? can you move them indoors after you harvest?

Yes absolutely, I take a lot of clones from flowering plants, they will take around a month to start showin anything....but about 3 weeks into reveg, clip that top budlet off and it'll grow several branches at once....I had 1 that had 6 tops because I clipped it once....that's the good thing about cloning from a flowering plant no training and mutiple tops ...and I give mine 24/0 light schedule for at least the first week of re-veg....and if you're bringing them in from outside, check em real good to make sure you didn't bring in some bugs too...peace and welcome to RIU

thanks for your help, right now i have them in rockwool cubes, i used rooting hormone and just using water to feed them, under 24 hour cfl light. as soon as i see some changes i will transplant to larger cubes and clay pellets and dround them with 600 watt hps, when i check on my outdoor monster plants ill post a few pic. real fucking happy with the results considering it's my first attempt at growing bud
