hey hows it goin.. this is my first indoor grow and I have a few simple questions soo far the plants are 6 weeks old and I germinated them and put them straight under a 400 watt hps light. they are between 8 and 11 inches tall and have 6 full sets of leaves. For my first question I was wondering when the best time to top my plants would be if it is even nesessary to top them atol ? .. also I was wondering about the fowering stage .. I have about 4 feet of usable space so i was hopeing to keep them kinda short thats where topping comes into my mind. and also either way what would be the best time to change my light cycle to 12/12 ? p.s. they also have alternating nodes.. anyways please get back to me asap that would be great thanks alot.

Well you came to the right forum to learn about topping sticky up at the top, but wrong forum for this question, basically asking a newbie question in the advanced forum then you double posted and we know your new so I'll let ya know that when you accidentally double post you can delete one by clicking edit post then go advanced, delete is first option
read the topping sticky, they are ready to top if you decide to and if you do give em a week to recover then flip em to flower or flip em now without topping
