Need some help(roots too long)

I have a aeroponic system and every week i refill the resivoir and check how the pump is spraying on the plants. Today i noticed that 2 of the plants roots have gotten so long that they hang into the resivoir of water/nut's. It also looks like the plant is a laser laser green maybe yellow? Is it becuase of the roots in the resivoir? what should i do any advice will be appreciated.

My roots hang in side the resivoir.. from my experience its fine as long as the water has plenty of oxygen.. get an air pump and air stone put in the resivoir and you should be fine
