Need some help with seedlings, clones and young plants. \m/

I really like growing from seed and keep my own clones from a mother. But sometimes I have to go to the store or try to find someone liable who doesn't charge $15/clone. With the legalization in this state everyone and their mom is starting to sell clones. I don't like smoking the same shit as everyone else. I like to run new strains every run. So back to the topic...

...So with my seeds I just place some paper towels in the bottom of a small Tupperware, place my seeds in there, cover with another paper towel, get paper towels wet, put top on Tupperware, PlaceTupperware in black plastic food storage bag and place on top of my little veg chamber. I normally get a root tip in 3-7 days. Once I see the seed has popped I place that seed into a wet grow plug and cover with a little of the plug material. Than I place the plug into a small clone dome. In a few days the seed will normally start coming up with some green. Now, this is where I have some issues it would seem. Do I leave the seedling in the covered dome for 'x' amount of days? Do I just immediately plant the seedling into either one of my hempy buckets or one of my DWC's? How do I know when my seedling is ready to be fed? Also with a clone; How long can I keep a clone under a dome before it has to be planted? And how many roots before it can be planted?

Sorry i couldnt read all of that but from the gist of ur thread just put them in the dirt. Heavily saturate it with ur finger scrape 1/2 an inch of dirt away pop ur seed in and cover back up. Simple. Forget the over complecated ways grow with simplicity and you will be fine.

Forget the paper towel altogether!..seriously...its unnecesery.
saturate your plugs fully, squeeze them so theyre spongy.now theyre fully wet, turn them upside down so the big end is now the base...poke hole in top, insert , pointy end down, gently push down then tear off small fragment of plug and put over hole...do not let plug dry out, keep moist, not waterlogged! No need to use dome on seedlings, only cuttings! Hope this helps...
P.s its all about the roots! Either seed or clone, wait until you've got good amount of roots showing before you start messin with em...

I can get them to grow out of a plug with no issues. Its what to do with them once they pop out of the plug. That's where I seem to be having issues. I can get them to pop in the papertowel and to pop out of the plug. Its more what to do after it's popped out of the plug.

Once they pop out of plug put em in the hydroton & net pods with no nutes for the 1st 3 or 4 days. Then feed lightly. i wouldnt go over 300PPM for a few days until they are established. PH your water before hand & keep rez temps down close to 70% are lower if you can. Watch how close you keep the lights on them also.

Even though I've been growing for a few years this part still confuses me. So I want to put 300 ppm (.5) of nutes in my already 230ppm tap water. Therefore making the res. ~550ppm would be my goal when it comes to this statement?

Roots are.light sensitive....they want to seek water..its best to plant it so they dont get hindered or stressed.... learn to read the leaves..don't feed till you see those coyt leaves yellowing up...keep it light, you should be right
