Need some Newbie Help over here

So this might sound funny but i have 4 plants between 1 and 2 feet tall growing under a 100 watt incandescent bulb i pulled out of the light in my room. The hood isnt even metal but instead a plastic hood that i lined with aluminum foil. theyre growing inside an open garbage can that is lined with foil. my question: 2 of the plants are noticeably smaller than the other two even tho theyve been growing the same amount of time. does that mean they are males? also, i see some flower production since ive been on 11/13 for a week or so, but i cant get close enough to tell what the hell it is male or female, the pictures online are so big and blown up i cant see my plants like that. anyone have good pictures of early flowering so i can pluck those pollenating bastards.
