Im in the process of setting up small grow rooms and want to make sure I properly Vent them.
OK room #1 used to flower is 4' wide and 6' long it has a 1sqft vent in the wall that will allow cool A/C air in from my bedroom.
Now at the back side of this room is a gas hot water tank all enclosed in its own closest and next to it is another closet that ive split height wise to clone and veg in.
Lol 1st time i ever used paint to draw a pic in my life....
OK so for equipment I have a 6" cool tube,6" inline 380cfm fan, 25 feet of 6" mylar ducting, 8 120mm pc fans (88cfm)and a fan controler, plus a dual 6" window fan that has a thermastat and fans can be run in/out or exchanged (1 in /1 out)
This is what I have planned but want to run it past the pros to make sure i got it right.
Take the dual fan, cut a hole in the door of the hot water tank room and mount it close to the top as able to force heat out of the main room into the tank room. Build a box with 2 120mm 80cfm computer fans to force the air in from the vent in my BR (Vent location shown in pic) for fresh cooled air.
I figured ill run my Carbon filter to the 6" inline fan then ducting then through the cool tube and tape the end to one side of the window fan to exaust.
Thats the plan for the main room.
For the smaller room I plan on putting a vent in the base of the door to feed the fresh air from the main room in.
For exaust I plan on cutting through the wall into the hot water tank room and use 2 88cfm fans for each chamber (2 for the top and 2 for the bottom chamber)
OK i've explained this the best I can
Now this is the part I have no clue about. All my plans involve exhausting all my spaces into the enclosed and sealed hot water tank room and my thinking was it would all go up the vent from the tank since its a passive vented tank.
Dont want to die from CO poisoning (atleast not today I dont) is it gonna be okay or will forceing air in there screw up my tanks vent and back the gasses up? Im not hooking into the tanks chimney the plan is just force the air into the enclosed room that the tanks in.
Also my Home is a modular type so i have no basement, its on piers and has 3 foot crawl space im not against cutting the floor and venting exhaust if need be. No way in hell will I put a roof vent in I just spent 5 GRAND getting it fixed do to the previous owner trying to do the very same thing...
Open to any and all suggestions But please read my whole post before answering
