Neighbors ratted me out

I wouldn't let the police in without a search warrant, and they ultimately left...

Once they were gone, I killed all my recently rooted clones, the mothers, disassembled my cabinet, and threw my gear and ripped up ladies in a mall dumpster. It was their second visit in a few months, so growing here is clearly impossible.

Good luck to everyone out there. My neighbors smelled resin we scraped from a bowl. It's just not safe here. The cowardly neighbors won't even reveal themselves. The cops said they received "multiple calls" but they were all full of lies tonight, trying to get me to confess and give them evidence so they could come in without a warrant. Bullshit you received multiple calls, it's probably just one miserable woman who nobody likes.

Stay safe RIU users. Never trust anyone and never talk to cops. Do not self incriminate yourself, and do not hand over evidence.

If it's a cop at your door don't open it. If he has a right to be there let them bring down the door. Otherwise they should be given the mormon treatment.

I walked out and locked the door behind me to speak with the cops. He said everything he could to me and my roommate to scare us into thinking we have no rights.

He even said if we don't confess, he'd call our landlord and have us evicted, and then started telling us how hard it would be to find another place to live with an eviction... but he wouldn't call the landlord if we gave him evidence... Yeah, i let him "call my landlord"... Liar.

Never listen to the lying pigs. Do not give them evidence, and do not self incriminate.

OMG, my neighbors did that to me, i just moved all my grow out to the woods for about 2 days, they came back searched my house with a warrent, then moved my stuff back the next day, they called the cops two more times but the cop just knocked and asked me ?s he said he already searched and isnt going thru the trouble of getting a warrent again unless my nighbors give more proof.

Imagine being a judge and having police ask you for a second warrant right after the first turned up nothing... lol..

I place glass completely around my grow, cops use FLIR scopes to look through your house, they use helicopters and have handheld cams for cops to just drive by, usually this is one of the first things they do, FLIR cant penitrate glass, (for some reason fiberglass is penatrateable I think) without a decent FLIR pic or other solid evidence, they most likely wont be able to get a warrent.

Aint it sad people go outta there way just to bust a small grow op?

What really pisses me off is the amount of smell reduction effort we've been going through since the last time they called the cops on us to reduce our smell.

We setup a 2 foot PCV pipe full of aquiarium carbon, capped one end and drilled holes in it, the other was threaded for a stopper. We had a plastic garbage bag on the drilled holes side taped around so when you blow into the spoof, it goes through the 2 feet of carbon, and into a garbage bag, where it gets sealed off with the threaded stopper.

We paid 8 bucks for cans of that ozium shit. We started smoking in the bathroom instead of our living room. Everything to make those fuckers happy. We get caught once and they call the cops immediately when they notice. Nothing will make them miserable bitches happy. They just want to see everyone else suffer.

Reading all of this makes me lament for my fellow growers. Everything you have to do to be "tolerated" is grossly unjust. It makes me appreciate having my state license more than ever. I sincerely look forward to the day when all of the good people on here can grow without judgement, and fear of raids. Stay strong and keep the positive vibes.

Thank god mattresses can't call the police. I beat the living shit out of it until I was exhausted. The aggression needs to be taken out, lest i figure out who ratted me out and accidentally take my aggression out the wrong way.... Cowards too scared to show their faces...

I've been providing for myself and nobody else for about 15 years now and this is the first time I've had to end it like this. I guess you could say I've been lucky for 15 years.

Damn, that sucks sorry you had to tear everything down. Just wanted to add that even opening your door is a huge risk, all they have to do is say they smelled something and they have probable cause to come in. Tell them if they have questions they can call you, and give them your phone number. That or tell them to walk 100 yards away before you will open the door LOL.

They kept pointing out that I seemed nervous, as if acting nervous is incriminating.

I told them "You'd be nervous too if the police came to your door to interrogate you".

No shit I'm nervous when there's liar pigs at my door.

Next time but a real carbon filter and smoke in the basement.

FLIR works on heat. The glass heats up. They can senses it. Good luck with the glass.

Smelling pots gives probably cause to get a warrent. They hear someone screaming in your place and kick in the door, find your grow/grass, they didn't need the warrent and everything found is admissible in court. But just smelling pot, they need a warrent. And some judges say, not enough just smelling. Worked for a lawyer once.

What do you mean a "real carbon filter?" you mean like those smoke buddy products you blow into? That's really supposed to work better? Note, I'm not talking about the carbon filter on the tent, I'm talking about the carbon filter spoof we use to blow our hits into after smoking. The smoke was going into a sealed off plastic bag.

What they smelled was resin that never made it into the spoof. Resin smells so bad.

And.. um... basement? What a dream it would be if I had a basement.

There is no "next time". It sucks, but I can't grow here. Next time is when I move.

How do they know the smell is coming from my apartment unit and not one of my neighbors? Either way, they didn't have a warrant.

That's absolutely disgusting, man. I can't stand people who impose their morals and ethics onto the individual. Keep exercising your liberty of choice, fuck them. If they report you again make a complaint that you can smell cannabis coming from THEIR apartment. Let them have a taste of the state imposing on their personal affairs.

You went in the bathroom to smoke resin and your neighbors smelled it. Are you talking about bowl tar or hash resin, like our Euro friends like to refer to it?

Why did you turn the vent fan on? Resin (bowl tar)may stink, but it has plenty of smell easily related to pot burning. Or didn't you know that?

Control your emissions people. All of them.

Suggest moving to Colorado or some of the other medical states. Stay out of the middle USA when growing weed.
