New at growing

help using a 400 hps lamp in closet, these plants are two weeks old did i keep the light to close they look very small to me pls help

how often are you watering? the stem base lookes rotted might just be me.

they r being watered every 5 days because of the size of pot verse the plant. I just went and checked on them they are growing out of control. I had the light 2 inchs but the leaves began to yellow and fold upward protectin itself. moved the lamp about 8 inches, my new plants was not opening up well and the little round leaves the first ones was yellowing so i raised it to 10 to 12 inchs, wondering is the light to close, but the new leaves on the two week old plants are beautiful, and i see growth will take some more pics and post them

Keep your 400w lamp way above your seedlingss..id say at least 18iches

thanks, also how many can i grow under my 400hps, i have 2 that are 2 wks old and 11 that is 1 wk old and growing what kind of light can i get the supplement
