New DWC

Ok so started my first DWC grow in Jan. Been a little on the leary side to post it up but what the hell why not I guess. lol

I am using General Hydroponics 3 part nutes just to keep it simple. I do believe in the KISS (keep it simple stupid)theory when first starting something and seeing how it goes. She is under 600 watts MH at 12/12. I only just got a EC meter after I had her in the bloom room for about 2 weeks and started to measure the nute solution then. The temps of the solution are 76 deg and the EC is at 3.11. I am mixing it at what GH calls for right now.

Here are a couple of pics of her about 3 weeks out of cloning.

There are several other pics of seperate dates in my album and this is the one that I took yesterday when I changed out my nutes.

I have started tying her up as she is starting to get very heavy at this time. I am thinking about a SCROGG for the next time.

Topped off my nutes last night and for my next grow I will have to be making a change in how I do that. She went threw 1. gallons of water and the res is only 3 gallons to begin with. She can really drink it away.

The day time temps are 88 deg and at night down to 65. Humidity never exceeds 25 percent and the ph of my tap water hangs right around 6.0 I let the water sit for around a min of 24 hours some times 48.

Thats about it for now.

That huge amount of nutes is showing up bad now. That is a massive amount and salts will build up killing the plant. If not the notes the warm res will definitely cause an issue

Hey there SS. Thanks for the input. So far I haven't really had any problems with the nutes being too hot. Although I do agree they are pretty high. A few of the leaves do have some slight burning going on at the very tips and they have always been that way. So far the res temps are not going up very high but I am looking at doing a external recirc res outside of the grow area. When every I have checked the res temps they have been around 60 up to 68 at the highest.

Ok changed my nutes today and took a few more pics for them that like to look.

EC 2.9
Air temp 27.5 cel
solution temp 21.5 cel

She is a bit leggy due to the fact I let her be too far from her light source. Next time she will start out closer.

Nodes are not too bad towards the base of the plant but stretch out towards the top.

Buds are forming up nicely.

Coloring is not too bad. You can see the slight nute burning in this pic at the end of the leaves.
