So, I have 3 rooms.

1 small area for cloning, 1 area (pictured below) for veg which is a 4x2 tray. and a flower room which has a 4x2 tray and a 2x2 tray..
The light i am using is a pioneer VIII Sunleaves

The plan is to let all these plants grow and cut them up into clones...

The plant on the left is purple kush and the 2 small ones on the right are sour diesel..

My average temp is about 79-80 degrees. lows being around 75, and highs being around 85.

My water system is set to flood 3 times a day for 15 minutes.

I will be closing up the room once my exhaust fan is setup...

Does anyone have any recommendations ?

And heres a pic before i put in the ebb flow system...

woops... thought i posted pics with it

As I said above, i recently changed from just a flooded tray to the EBB flow system (2 days ago). The ebb flow runs for 15 mins and fills up about 2-3 inches of the medium(tray is still filling up in the photos). What do you think is currently wrong with the plants?

i would let it sit for a bit to see if they get better they look good other then the drooping verrt tight nodes!!... is you rezevior covered????? what is the ppm and ph of water???? you can also try to cut the water 1 run or even adding.... i was always told 3 waters in a ebb&flow... but not kidding you if i were to do that my plants would be dry and dead... mine seam to require 6 times a day from 8 am to 8 pm... i have had people say way to much water but if it misses 1 of those waters it starts to sag!!!!! also when those roots come out of rockwool get some hyrotone for that tray and cover whole tray you dont want those roots to get light!!!!

They already look healthier actually just give em some time and they should recover.

you can also cover the entire tray with black/whit plastic to prevent alge from forming in the tray.

BTW nice little room you have built, very nice.

thanks. I was planning on covering the whole tray. I think i'm going to wait until i have a full set of plants for this room, using all the same size rock wool cubes. Do you think it will be ok with the small amount of algae that is around?

Yeah I have never seen rockwool without Algea.

haha

Its like a given for rockwool so dont worry to much more or less I think there is something deeper going on that is hurting your plants.

also 15 mins is a little much the blocks with hold all the moisture they can take up in like X time to fill tray + 2 mins.

Thanks again, this is my first grow and I tried to do things properly rather than starting ghetto and having to fix it later. I have 3 rooms, one for clones, then this one which is for veg, and then a flower room with 2 600watt CFLs that I have to finish setting up.

One problem I have is that the room is 2.5feet by 6 feet, and I want to utilize as much of it as possible. So I was thinking to do a bucket setup or maybe just a tray setup like i have, but then I will need a 4x2 tray and a 2x2 tray(and I would have to rig something for it to pump to both trays)

Do that, with the two trays and you will not regreat it, Ebb and flow is so awesome for beggiiners and advanced growers alike.

Do a search for a guy named Al B. Fuct on here and you will learn alot.

Also Why the use of CFL's why not HID for flowering, your buds and yeilds would love you for it.
