Okay, so I germinated my seed for 2 days in paper plates and they are now 4 days into the soil and looking great in my opinion.

I am a little concerned with the temperatures as it is 90 degrees in my grow box. I have two 120mm computer fans both sucking air in with 3 inch and a half holes cut in the box for passive exhaust.

I will be keeping you guys up to date with pictures every 3rd day or so.

I am looking for suggestions and help making this grow even better. Thanks Rollitup.org for making this grow possible :blsmoke:

Here is some pictures of my grow box and how I have it set up inside.

I originally painted the inside of the box white but too much light escaped into my room so I had to put metal foil tape inside.

One 100w daylight CFL bulb and two 60w daylights.

Not sure if my humidity is too low???

Tell me what you guys think...I will be keeping this page updated with pics ever few days thanks alot.:blsmoke:

dude your box looks so official. i love the set up. i am having the same problem with my closet except it reaches at the highest 95 + and my plants look fine. so it sounds like you have the proper air flow. which is what i think is saving my plants. mine are about the same age as yours and look identical. so keep up the good work. i will keep up with you cuz im sure we will both incounter some of the same problems

Thanks  Yeah I tried using both fans to blow air but it put me up to 95 and I also tried 1 fan sucking 1 fan blowing and it made it a terrible 105 degrees in the box...both fans sucking keeps it the coolest if that helps any :blsmoke:

your plants are both a little stretched out,,prop up your plants closer to the lights,,keep them as close to the plants without touching them pretty much

also the heat is way too high bro,,what i would do is cut a smoke hole right above the lights,,and have a pc fan right above the lights blowing out into the hole u cutt. Heat rises,so you will be able to blow out a lot of that hot air

I have two exhaust holes at the top next to the light fixture already, thats what the pvc elbows are...I used elbows to keep light in the box and not in my room. Also the fans sucking air in should be pushing all the hot air inside the box out of the holes I put on top of the box. I dont know what else to do besides that?

computer fans are fantastic. ive read tons of different posts swearing by them they are cheap and for the small grower work great. also if computer fans dont suit your fancy i grabbed little 5 buck desk fans from walmart it is working great i have it on my one beauty and she loves it.

dont worry about air suckin it,,have all your fans on exhaust,,if u blow air out,,obviously air will come in to replace the air blown out..so no need for an exhaust in a small setup,,i would put 1 pc fan literally blowing up and out from the top of the box where the lights are hanging from

Okay, I will give that a try and see how it effects the temperature. Hopefully it brings me down to like 80 degrees :blsmoke:

Ill let you know what happens shortly...brb

I bought everything from lowes...except the fans, they came from radio shack. Cost me about $150 to build the box.

bro also i would use 2 tablespoons of blackstrap molasses per a gallon like once a week,,itl help your stem get fatter in veggie, and in flower it produces more resin

Your box looks great. I have seen these things being built more and more these days. The organizational side of your personality alone tells me that this will turn out well for you, you've also got great genes to back you up. I would also agree with the few guys that said focus more on exhaust.

Once you create a negative pressure in your cabinet, new air (im assuming air conditioned air if this box is going to be in your room) will be coming in through every little crack. Throw in a small oscillating fan or something of the sort for air passing over your plant (improve plant strength and air circulation) and your set jet

p.s. im reeeally blazed so that might nto make sense
